Restaurants In Jaipur

Rajasthan the land of Prince and Maharajas is also known for its rich and mouth-watering delicacies. The preparation of food in the royal kitchens of Rajasthan was also a kind of art that required skill and perfection. The 'Khansamas,' the royal cooks worked in the majestic palaces and kept their most unique recipes to themselves. Later on the recipes were passed on as skill to the chefs of branded hotels and restaurants.

Rajasthani food
is the combination of dal, bati and churma but there is a wide variety to choose from in Rajasthani cuisine. The bati, lachhedar paratha and besan ki missi puri are typical breads famous in Rajasthan. There is also lot of diversities for non vegetarians- meat specialties includes red meat, a hot spiced dish, and white meat cooked with almonds, cashew nuts and coconut, one should not miss these delicacies while going for a Rajasthan tour.

Rajasthan also offers variety of sweet dishes - ladoos, mawa kachori, malpuas, dil jani, mishri mawa and ghevar of Jaipur.

Om Revolving Restaurant Jaipur
This one we had to try simply because it revolves and that's something of a novelty. There you sit on the 14th floor of a building and watch the city pass by slowly.

LMB Restaurant Jaipur
This was originally known as Laxmi Misthan Bhandar which explains the three letters of the name. Once upon a time this was a Jain- Vaishnav place which specialised in vegetarian food cooked without onions or garlic.

Handi Restaurant Jaipur
Handi is located Located on the main road of Jaipur (M.I. Road), 1 km from the Railway Station and Bus Stand, 6 kms from the Airport. Handi serves Indian cuisines. Amenities and services for Handi include Outdoor catering, Take away service.

Chokhi Dhani Restaurants Jaipur
Mention Rajasthani food and everyone, whether from Jaipur or not, brightens up and says Chokhi Dhani. The name means roughly, the excellent hamlet, and no attempt has been spared to convert this place into a kind of Rajasthan for Beginners.
